Sihoo DORO-C300 Pro V2 Ergonomic Office Chair

This is the chair we point people to when they want most of what a premium dynamic chair does without going to the top of the range. The DynaCore system means the backrest, lumbar pad and seat all move as one when you recline, instead of the backrest tipping away from your lower back the way a fixed-lumbar chair does. If you spend six to ten hours a day at a desk, alternate between typing upright and leaning back to read or think, and want the chair to keep up without you touching a lever, the V2 does that in a way the Sihoo M57 cannot and the LiberNovo Omni does not need to.

It suits users from about 150 to 190 cm. Taller than that, or over 100 kg, and you will run out of adjustment at the top of the range — look at the big and tall collection or the LiberNovo Maxis instead.

The Gen 1 is still a good chair and we keep it in the range; the V2 is the one to buy if the backrest following you through the recline is what you are paying for.

The footrest version adds a retractable leg rest that slides out from under the seat for the 135° position; it is a small step up and is the configuration most people choose for a home office. Skip it for a shared office or if your desk has a low modesty panel that the extended footrest would hit.

The two colours are the same chair. Black is black mesh on a black frame and base, and hides wear in a busy office. Grey is light grey mesh on a white frame, which suits white or timber desks and reads lighter in a small room. Both are on the floor in Sydney and Melbourne.

The Sihoo M57 is the simpler full-mesh chair: excellent lumbar adjustment but a fixed-pivot back, so it suits people who sit mostly upright. The C300 Pro V2 adds the moving backrest and the auto-calibrating mechanism. The LiberNovo Omni goes further again with a motorised lumbar, eight-panel flexing back and a 160° recline. What is the difference between the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 and the C300 Pro?

The V2 adds the SyncroFlex backrest that moves with you through the recline, the wider Self-Adaptive Lumbar 2.0, Smart Mechanism 2.0 that auto-calibrates to your weight, 8D armrests and an ultra-wide headrest. The Gen 1 keeps a fixed-pivot backrest and 4D arms.

Is the Sihoo C300 Pro V2 good for tall people?

It suits users up to about 190 cm. Beyond that, the LiberNovo Maxis or the chairs in our big and tall collection give more seat depth and back height.

Does the C300 Pro V2 have a footrest?
