LiberNovo builds what the industry calls a dynamic ergonomic chair: instead of a backrest you set once and then fight for the rest of the day, the chair keeps moving with you. The backrest is a Bionic FlexFit structure — eight flexible panels tied together by 14 dual-connection points and 16 spherical pivots — so it flexes across its width as well as its height and follows the curve of your spine as you shift. Sitting behind it is the Dynamic Support System, which keeps the seat and back working as one unit through the recline instead of pitching you forward at the hips.
The part that separates this range from a conventional chair is the powered lumbar. On the Omni and the Omni Pro, an All-In-Fit actuator drives the lumbar support in and out through 5 cm of travel at the touch of a button, and a built-in five-minute OmniStretch cycle slowly pushes the lumbar forward and back to decompress your lower back mid-shift. It runs off an internal USB-C rechargeable battery, so there is no cable to the wall. That is the honest trade-off with this range: more moving parts and a battery to keep charged, in exchange for support you can retune during the day rather than once at setup. If you would rather not own a motor at all, the Omni SE does the same job with a manual dial.
How the range splits. Four chairs, all sharing the same Bionic FlexFit architecture:
- LiberNovo Omni SE — the mechanical version. A manual screw dial sets how firmly the backrest hugs your lower back; no motor, no OmniStretch. Five lockable recline positions, Midnight Black only, two seat sizes (45 cm and 48 cm), and the independent two-stage footrest is included. Best if you want the geometry without the electronics.
- LiberNovo Omni — the core model. Motorised All-In-Fit lumbar with 5 cm of travel, OmniStretch, a 2,200 mAh battery, four lockable recline positions, a nylon base, and four colours (Starship Grey, Midnight Black, Space Grey, Moss Green). Footrest optional.
- LiberNovo Omni Pro — the flagship. Everything the Omni has plus a 3,000 mAh battery, Active AirFlow seat ventilation (a centrifugal fan running at 4,000 rpm with two speeds), Gabriel Atlantic upholstery rated at 110,000 Martindale rubs, a die-cast aluminium base, armrests with 96 mm of height travel, 11.9 cm of neckrest travel and five recline positions. Footrest included.
- LiberNovo Maxis — the big-and-tall platform, and a different chair rather than a bigger Omni. Rated to 181 kg on a BIFMA-certified reinforced frame, built for users 178–200 cm tall, with a 52 cm ultra-deep seat, a 63 cm backrest, a 6-spring controlled recline with five stops (105°, 115°, 125°, 135°, 160°), a U-shaped headrest with 140 mm of vertical and 120 mm of horizontal travel, an aluminium-alloy base and Greenguard Gold certification. It comes in three configurations: Manual, Electric (motorised lumbar and OmniStretch) and Airflow (adds seat ventilation and Gabriel Atlantic fabric).
All three Omni models share a 105°–160° recline range, a 136 kg weight rating, a height fit of roughly 153–186 cm, 100 mm of seat-depth slide and 80 mm of backrest height adjustment. If you are taller than about 186 cm or heavier than 136 kg, the Maxis is the one to look at rather than the Pro. The Maxis is on pre-order — it launches 27 July 2026, with stock expected between 19 September and 3 October 2026.
Why buy from an authorised dealer. LiberNovo does run its own Australian store, but it lists only the standard Omni and the StepSync footrest. The Omni SE, the Omni Pro and all three Maxis configurations are not sold there — in Australia they come through a dealer. Buying from us also means an Australian invoice, an Australian warranty claim path and Australian consumer-law rights, rather than a grey import or an overseas order where a motor fault turns into an international freight problem and a customs bill. Choose the Omni Pro if you sit long hours and run warm: it adds Active AirFlow seat ventilation, Gabriel Atlantic fabric, a die-cast aluminium base, 4D armrests and a larger battery. All three share the same 105-160 degree recline range, 136 kg rating and 153-186 cm height fit.

Can I buy the Omni SE, Omni Pro or Maxis from LiberNovo's own Australian store?
No. LiberNovo's Australian store lists only the standard Omni and the StepSync footrest. The Omni SE, the Omni Pro and all three Maxis configurations reach Australia through authorised dealers such as Aussie Chair, which is why the full range appears here and not there.
Does the motorised lumbar need to be plugged in?
No. The powered models carry an internal USB-C rechargeable battery — 2,200 mAh on the Omni, 3,000 mAh on the Omni Pro — so there is no cable running to a wall socket. You recharge it periodically, and how often depends on how much you use the lumbar adjustment and the OmniStretch cycle. The Omni SE has no motor and no battery at all, if you would rather not manage one.

Every LiberNovo model carries the official 5-year frame warranty and 2-year motor warranty. Because Aussie Chair is an authorised dealer, that cover is administered locally alongside your Australian consumer-law rights — a grey import or a direct overseas order generally has to be sent back to the seller's country at your cost if the motor or frame fails.
