Product details

The LiberNovo Omni Gen is the new generation of LiberNovo's Omni. It keeps the motorised Bionic FlexFit backrest and the OmniStretch lumbar stretch, and re-engineers the rest: a fifth recline position, more headrest and armrest travel, a refined battery casing and two new colourways, Glacier and Graphite. LiberNovo calls it a classic, remade.

A 50 mm electric push rod shapes the backrest to the curve of your spine, and the Dynamic Support system keeps the headrest, backrest, seat and armrests moving with you as you shift. If you want the powered backrest and the stretch cycle with finer recline steps and the updated fit, this is the Omni to choose.

  • Bionic FlexFit backrest — 8 flexible panels joined by 14 dual-connection points, on a double-layer frame with 16 ball joints
  • All-in-Fit Tech — a 50 mm electric push rod shapes the backrest into a range of S-curves; rated to 136 kg
  • Dynamic Support — the headrest, backrest, seat and armrests follow your movement
  • Five recline positions — 105°, 115°, 125°, 135° and 160°
  • OmniStretch — one touch starts a five-minute motorised lumbar stretch
  • Upgraded fit — 120 mm of headrest height travel, a 37° headrest angle range and 96 mm of armrest travel
  • 48 cm seat in zoned multi-density foam, memory-foam headrest, in Glacier or Graphite

Aussie Chair is an official LiberNovo dealer in Australia. The Omni Gen ships Australia-wide; the Standard Bundle adds the StepSync footrest.

Omni Gen vs Omni

Both chairs share All-in-Fit Tech, Dynamic Support and OmniStretch. The Omni Gen adds the fifth recline position and widens the adjustment ranges:

Feature Omni Gen (this chair) Omni
Recline positions 5 (105°, 115°, 125°, 135°, 160°) 4
Headrest height travel 120 mm (goes 40 mm lower) 80 mm
Headrest depth travel 90 mm 80 mm
Headrest angle range 37° 32°
Armrest travel 96 mm (goes 20 mm lower) 80 mm
Colours Glacier, Graphite Space Grey, Starship Grey, Midnight Black, Moss Green

Looking across the whole range? The Omni SE uses a manual lumbar dial instead of the motor, and the Omni Pro adds a ventilated seat and Gabriel upholstery. Our Omni vs SE vs Pro comparison explains who each one suits.

Five recline positions

The Omni's 120° step is now split into 115° and 125°, so there is a position for every part of the day: Collaborate (105°) for meetings and focused desk work, Create (115°) as an all-round working angle, Focus (125°) for reading and deep thinking, Unwind (135°) for long sessions, and Recharge (160°) for a full lie-back break. The headrest, backrest, seat and armrests stay with you through each change.

OmniStretch and the StepSync footrest

OmniStretch runs the electric push rod through a slow, five-minute back-and-forth cycle, a gentle lumbar stretch you start with one touch from the armrest. It pairs naturally with the 160° Recharge position.

The Standard Bundle adds LiberNovo's independent two-stage StepSync footrest. It gives 10° of foot support at two heights (7 cm and 12 cm), slides under the desk when you are working, and supports your legs at full recline. It measures 423 × 423 mm and stands 428 mm tall.

Comfort and materials

The headrest uses a soft-rebound memory foam that follows the curve of your neck. The backrest layers a stretch fabric over a flexible, pressure-relieving foam and LiberNovo's resilient panels, so it holds your lower back while still feeling soft. The seat is one-piece moulded foam in three densities — softer at the front for your thighs, firmer at the back for your sit bones — for a relaxed, low-centre-of-gravity sit.

Bundles and what's in the box

  • Basic Bundle — the chair with headrest, armrests and battery.
  • Standard Bundle — everything in the Basic Bundle plus the StepSync footrest.

The battery is 2200 mAh with a 5 V / 2 A charging input.
