Good to know: the backrest height and the lumbar support both use a cyclic ratchet. They can’t be lowered directly from a middle position: raise them to the highest point to unlock the mechanism, then push them all the way down. This is a normal design feature, not a product defect.
The HBADA E3 Pro (2026 Edition) is a fully adjustable mesh ergonomic office chair built around a 3-zone elastic lumbar support that follows your lower back as you shift, lean and recline. A 4D dual-axis headrest, 720° OmniMechanical armrests, a breathable CloudMesh seat and a four-position recline from 105° to 140° cover focused desk work, gaming and a proper lie-back. It comes in Black or Grey, both with a footrest that stows under the seat.
Sit-test the E3 Pro at our Sydney or Melbourne showroom.
3-zone adaptive lumbar support. HBADA calls it a second spine: a mechanical, spring-loaded linkage rather than a fixed pad. Split side wings rotate 80° to wrap the sides of your lower back, a 5° elastic tracking hinge uses your own body weight to keep the pad in contact as your posture changes, and the whole block lifts 60 mm to target the L1–L5 region. You can leave it in active tracking, with 32 mm of give, or lock it for firmer, fixed support.
4D dual-axis headrest. Two separate 70° pivots, one at the pad and one at the stem, plus 40 mm of lift and 70 mm of forward and back travel let the headrest find your neck whether you sit upright or recline to 140°. The joints are aluminium alloy.
720° OmniMechanical armrests. Dual 360° rotation and a 39° flip anchor your elbows for typing, handheld gaming or reclining. At their lowest the pads sit 72 cm from the floor and slide under a standard 74 cm desk.
CloudMesh seat. Imported high-polymer fabric with zoned weaving that spreads pressure evenly across your hips and back, with a softer front edge, and stays breathable on hot afternoons.
HBADA's approach is "Pro-Custom" rather than "auto-average": set the chair up once for your body, lock it in, and it stays put.
The backrest frame and five-star base are steel, the castors are silent PA+PU wheels that glide quietly and are kind to floors, and the gas lift is SGS-certified Class 4. HBADA tests the E3 Pro beyond BIFMA standards: 100,000 castor cycles, 120,000 recline cycles, 120,000 armrest cycles, 120,000 gas lift cycles, 120,000 rotation cycles and a 60,000-cycle handrail durability test. The mesh is tension-tested over 120,000+ cycles so it holds its shape rather than sagging.
The E3 Pro is approved by Dr. Dennis Miller, an International Chiropractic Association (ICA) chiropractic expert.
Black pairs black mesh with a dark frame; Grey pairs grey mesh with a light-grey frame, which looks lighter in a small home office. Both have identical ergonomics.
Both colours come with a footrest that pulls out from under the seat when you lean back and tucks away while you work, so you can switch from upright desk work to a proper lie-back to read, relax or take a break.

HBADA's factory measurements, converted to metric.
Assembly takes about 10–15 minutes with the included tools; small fittings such as trim caps arrive pre-attached. Thread every bolt in loosely before tightening any of them fully.
Foam seats feel soft at first but compress over time and trap heat, whereas mesh keeps giving breathable, consistent support through long work hours. The E3 Pro pairs a CloudMesh seat with zoned tension for balanced sitting with an adjustable 3-zone lumbar system aimed at the lower back.
The E3 Pro is deliberately supportive rather than soft, to stop your pelvis slumping and straining your spine. To protect your legs, the front edge has a softer mesh weave and the seat depth slides 50 mm so you can clear the backs of your knees.
It is designed to support the lower back with a 3-zone lumbar block that has 60 mm of height adjustment, 30 mm of dynamic tracking and side wings that rotate 40° each way. Most people settle in within a week: set the lumbar pad at your belt line, adjust the seat depth for knee clearance and keep your feet flat on the floor.
The E3 Pro suits users from about 155 to 195 cm and up to 150 kg, with backrest, lumbar, seat depth and headrest adjustments to fine-tune the fit.
The armrests adjust from 72 to 87.5 cm off the floor, so they clear standard 74–76 cm desks. The chair needs a footprint of about 66 × 65 cm, plus roughly 102 cm of depth for a full 140° recline.
No. It uses a ratchet that steps upward notch by notch and resets to the bottom once it passes the top. The backrest height works the same way: raise it to the top to unlock it, then push it all the way down.
The PA+PU castors run quietly, so a new squeak usually means a frame bolt has loosened or the gas cylinder has not fully seated. Re-tighten all the assembly bolts with the included key and sit down firmly two or three times to lock the cylinder joint.
CloudMesh is tension-tested beyond BIFMA standards for 120,000+ cycles so it keeps its shape. Some normal surface wear is expected over years of use.
