Product details

The HBADA E3 Ultra is a fully adjustable mesh ergonomic office chair built around HBADA's T-shape support system, which supports your neck, shoulders, lower back and hips at the same time. It pairs an aerospace-grade aluminium-alloy backrest frame with HBADA's CloudMesh seat and back, a 4D dual-axis headrest, 720° omni-mechanical armrests and a footrest built into the seat, with 23 adjustments in all. Choose Grey or Black.

  • T-shape support system: headrest, lumbar, armrests and seat work together from neck to hips
  • 3-zone dynamic lumbar support: 5 cm height (5 levels), 3.2 cm depth with lock-in, 40° side-wing rotation and 12° of spring-loaded flex
  • 4D dual-axis headrest: 70° frame rotation, 70° tilt and rotation, 4 cm up/down and 7 cm forward/back
  • 720° omni-mechanical armrests: 360° pad rotation, 360° body swivel, 5 cm height, 11 cm forward/back, 20° tilt
  • Wire-control adjustment: recline to 140° in four positions, 5 cm seat depth and 8 cm backrest height
  • Built-in footrest, steel five-star base, SGS-certified Class-4 gas lift; suits users 150–195 cm and up to 150 kg

The T-shape support system

Most office chairs support one point of your back. The E3 Ultra is designed to support the whole upper body as one system, which HBADA calls the T-shape: a horizontal line across the shoulders and neck, and a vertical line down the spine to the hips.

  • Back: the 3-zone lumbar support wraps around the lower back. Its floating side wings rotate inward by up to 40° and are spring-loaded, so they flex with you as you shift instead of pushing back as a fixed pad would.
  • Neck: the 4D dual-axis headrest bridges the gap between head and spine, so your head stays supported whether you are working upright or reclining to rest.
  • Shoulders: the 720° armrests take the weight of your arms, which unloads the shoulders and upper back during long typing sessions.
  • Hips and thighs: the CloudMesh seat contours to your body and spreads your weight evenly to ease pressure on the sit bones.

Adjustability

The E3 Ultra's main seat controls are wire-operated, so you can adjust the chair from a natural seated position without bending over to find a lever.

  • Recline: four recline positions at 105°, 115°, 130° and 140°, from upright focus to a full rest with the footrest out.
  • Seat depth: 5 cm of travel (44.5–49.5 cm) to suit different leg lengths.
  • Backrest height: 8 cm of vertical travel so the lumbar and shoulder support line up with your back.
  • Lumbar: 5 cm of height adjustment in five steps, 3.2 cm forward/back with lock-in, 40° side-wing rotation and 12° of spring-loaded flex.
  • Headrest: 70° frame rotation, 70° tilt and rotation, 4 cm up/down and 7 cm forward/back.
  • Armrests: 360° pad rotation, 360° body swivel, 5 cm height, 11 cm forward/back and 20° tilt, enough to anchor your elbows at almost any desk height.
  • Footrest: built into the seat, so there is nothing extra to fit. Slide it out to recline with your legs supported.

Comfort and materials

The backrest is carried on a high-strength aluminium-alloy frame rather than the plastic frame of a conventional mesh chair, which adds durability and gives the E3 Ultra its polished spine. The seat and back use HBADA's CloudMesh, a high-polymer weave with zoned pressure relief that keeps air moving through long workdays.

Underneath, an SGS-certified Class-4 gas lift handles height changes, a heavy-duty steel five-star base keeps the chair stable, and silent PA+PU dual-surface castors roll across hardwood, tile and carpet while helping protect floors from scratches. HBADA lists IGR, BIFMA, TÜV and SGS certifications for the E3 Ultra and rates the chair for more than 120,000 cycles, beyond BIFMA standards.

The Grey version pairs light grey mesh with a white frame; the Black version is black mesh on a black frame. Both have the silver aluminium-alloy back frame and the built-in footrest.

Who the E3 Ultra suits

HBADA recommends the E3 Ultra for users roughly 150–195 cm tall, with a maximum load of 150 kg. The 45–53.5 cm seat height, adjustable seat depth and 8 cm backrest travel let one chair fit a wide range of body sizes, which makes it a good choice for households where more than one person uses the desk.

It is designed for people who sit for long hours and want to change posture through the day: upright for focused work, reclined for calls, and fully back with the footrest out for a break. If you mostly sit upright and do not need a footrest or a recline this deep, a simpler chair from our ergonomic office chair range may suit you better.

Assembly and set-up

The E3 Ultra arrives flat-packed and needs assembling. HBADA's installation and usage videos, in the User Guide above, walk through each step and every adjustment.

Once it is built, set the seat height so your feet rest flat and your knees sit level with or slightly below your hips, then set the seat depth to leave a few fingers' gap behind your knees. Raise the backrest until the lumbar zone sits in the curve of your lower back, bring the armrests up to elbow height, and finish with the headrest at the base of your skull.
