The HBADA T8 Max is a smart ergonomic chair built around lumbar support that actively follows you. Sensors read your posture in real time and an electric push-rod keeps the lumbar support against your lower back as you lean forward, sit upright or recline, with no manual adjusting. Around it, HBADA’s whole-chair follow-motion architecture moves the backrest, seat and armrests together, a keel-frame back flexes to your spine, and a ventilated seat keeps you cool.
Up to 20 adjustments fit people from 150 to 195 cm tall and up to 136 kg. The T8 Max comes in White and Black (HBADA calls them Mist White and Mountain Black). Sit-test it at our Sydney or Melbourne showroom.

Smart lumbar tracking
On the T8 Max, sensors in the lumbar area and seat read your posture, a chip calculates the support position and force, and a motor-driven push-rod moves the support with millimetre precision. Because it pushes straight in rather than at an angle, HBADA says support lands where your lower back needs it, with no gap at the sacrum. HBADA quotes a 6.7 mm/s response, a 22° support angle, 100,000-cycle fatigue testing and around 50 dB in operation.
Tracking works whether you are leaning forward, sitting upright, sitting back or reclining. Hold the AI button on the armrest for four seconds to start it; two more buttons move the support forward or back by hand. A one-touch spine stretch with three levels works upright or reclined, and the chair adds an automatic sitting reminder.
Whole-chair follow-motion
HBADA’s all-scenario dynamic support system links the backrest, seat and armrests through its own 12-track, 8-axis, 3-spring architecture. The backrest stays against your back, the seat moves with your hips so your shirt doesn’t pull as you recline, and the 4D linked armrests keep your arms supported.
The back is a keel frame: three stable keel supports, ten bionic flexible panels and 18 flexible dual-link joints. It flexes to follow the curve of your spine without sagging, and a precision-controlled motor draws the flexible backrest into shape to suit different spinal curves.
HBADA’s Pascal full-surface pressure-distribution system balances contact area against support force, spreading pressure that would otherwise sit on the lower back across six zones: neck, shoulders, elbows, lower back, hips and thighs. It is designed to reduce lumbar pressure over long sitting sessions.
Comfort and ventilation
The foam is zoned by job: skin-soft memory foam in the headrest, high-density elastic foam in the backrest, soft resilient foam on the armrests, and a seat cushion with three firmness zones from front to back for the hips and thighs. The breathable seat fabric has a water-, oil- and stain-resistant finish.
The smart ventilation system pulls air through five layers (breathable fabric, 3D breathable mesh, perforated foam, 3D airflow mesh and a directional air guide) using a centrifugal fan rated at 4,200 rpm. Three fan levels, Breeze, Cool and Fresh, run for up to 33, 16 and 7 hours per charge from the 2600 mAh battery box. Leave-seat sensing stops the fan when you stand up and restarts it when you sit back down.

To set up, adjust the seat height so your feet sit flat, leave a small gap behind your knees, raise the back unit until the lumbar support meets your lower back, then start lumbar tracking and set the armrests and headrest.
